Le revisioni piu importanti all&#8217;aereo che aveva dominato la prima parte della guerra aerea nello scacchiere coreano, riguardavano il profilo alare, la fusoliera, gli impennaggi, il carrello, i freni aerodinamici e per quanto riguardava l&#8217;interno un nuovo e pi\u00f9 potente motore, un nuovo seggiolino eiettabile ed una pi\u00f9 completa strumentazione.<\/p>\n<p>I MiG-17 con i suoi 6000 esemplari costruiti in URSS, 2000 in Cina, e 1000 in Polonia ha equipaggiato le aviazioni di una trentina di paesi del blocco comunista.
