Saiman 202
Il Saiman 202 nasce nel 1937 come aereo da piccolo turismo da un'idea dell'Ing. Bottini. L'aereo, che vola come prototipo nel 1938 ai comandi del celebre Uff.le della Regia Aeronautica Mario De Bernardi, viene costruito in 290 esemplari ed è destinato alla scuole di pilotaggio, in un primo momento, ed ai collegamenti durante la IIa Guerra Mondiale. Sempre durante il conflitto il Saiman svolge anche il compito di trasporto postale tra l'Italia e il Nord Africa. L'Aeronautica Militare lo utilizza fino alla metà degli anni '50, dopodiché gli esemplari ancora in attività vengono ceduti agli aeroclubs privati. L'esemplare in mostra al Parco Tematico dell'Aviazione è appartenuto al 41° tormo C.I. ed ha concluso la sua lunga vita operativa presso l'Aeroclub di Miramare-Rimini con la sigla civile I-FALK. Viene riproposto al pubblico con le insegne ed i colori di appartenenza alla Regia Aeronautica nel periodo bellico.
The Saiman 202 was created from an idea of Ing Bottini in 1937 as a little touristic airplane. The prototype first flew in 1938 with the famous officier of Regia Aeronautica Mario Bernardi. Then 290 of these airplane were built to be delivered to the Flying Schools and after as a liaison aircraft during 2nd World War. During this conflict the Saiman had also a postal-transport aim between Italy and North Africa. The Saiman 202 has served Italian Air Force untill Mid-1950s, after then it was assigned to the private Aero-clubs. The model in the exhibition even if it was not operative during the war, for homage to the aviators of the 2nd World War, is re-proposed with code numbers and emblems of the Italian Air Force and more precisely with the emblem of 41st Flight of fighter-interceptors. The Saiman 202's life displayed here, ended in the Aero-club of Miramare-Rimini with the civil insignia I-FALK.
Die Saiman 202, die Mario Bottini als zweisitzigen Reise-Eindecker entwarf, flog als Prototyp erstmals 1938, unter dem Komando des bekannten Offiziers der Italienischen Reichsluftwaffe Mario De Bernardi. Sie wird in 290 Exemplaren konstruiert und ist zuerst für die Flugschulen bestimmt, im Zweiten Weltkrieg dann als Verbindungsflugzeug, sowie auch als Kurierflugzeug zwischen Italien und Nordafrika. Die Italienische Luftwaffe setzte sie bis Mitte der 50-er Jahre ein. Die noch aktiven Flugzeuge wurden an die privaten Aeroclubs gegeben. Das ausgestellte Exemplar hatte dem 41. Geschwader C.I. angehört und seine operative Laufbahn beim Aeroclub von Rimini mit der Zivilsigla I-FALK beendet. Hier ist sie mit den Farben und den Zeichen jener Zeitperiode ausgestellt, in der sie bei der Italienischen Reichsluftwaffe eingesetzt gewesen war.
