MiG-21 MF "Fishbed-J"
Caccia monoposto multiruolo di produzione sovietica, impostato nel 1967, fu assegnato ai reparti operativi nel 1977. Questa è una delle ultime versioni della prolifica serie di questo celebre caccia, prodotto in ben ventiquattro differenti varianti. Rispetto alle precedenti, il MiG-21MF ha una maggiore potenza ed una maggiore velocità grazie soprattutto alla presenza del turboreattore "Tumanskii R-13-300" da 6.600 Kg di spinta. L'aereo in mostra al Parco Tematico dell'Aviazione conserva le insegne dell'aviazione dell'ex D.D.R. ed è appartenuto allo Jagdfliegergeshwader "Wladimir Komarow" basato a Preshen, un aeroporto a nord-est di Dresda, prossimo ai confini con la Polonia. L'emblema a forma di "Q" stampigliato sotto al codice "772", attesta la grande efficienza tecnico-operativa del reparto da caccia al quale apparteneva il velivolo.
A multi-purpose single-seater fighter developed in 1967 and assigned to Soviet operational squadrons in 1972. This is one of the last of the 24 different versions of this famous Russian plane to be produced. The MIG-21 MF was faster and more powerful than previous versions, mainly due to its Tumanskii R-13-300 turbo-jet, which delivered a thrust of 6600 kg. The plane displayed here has the markings of the former East German air force, and it flew with the Jagdfliegergeschwader 3 Vladimir Komarow squadron based at the airport of Preshen, to the north-east of Dresden, not far from the Polish border. The Q-shaped emblem beneath the number 772 indicates the high technical and operative efficiency of the fighter squadron.
Einsitziger, multifunktioneller Jagdflieger aus sowjetischer Produktion, 1967 entworfen, den operativen Abteilungen erst 1972 übergeben. Es handelt sich um eine der letzten Versionen der zahlreichen Serie dieses berühmten und langlebigen russischen Jagdfliegers, produziert in vierundzwanzig verschiedenen Versionen. Gegenüber den Vorgängern weist die MiG-21 MF eine höhere Leistung und höhere Geschwindigkeit auf, vor allem dank dem vorhandenen Turbojet "Tumanskii R-13-300" mit 6.600 kg Schub. Das ausgestellte Flugzeug trägt die Aufschrift der Luftstreitkräfte der ehemaligen DDR; es hatte dem Jagdfliegergeschwader 3 "Wladimir Komarow" mit Stützpunkt in Preschen, einem Flugplatz nordöstlich von Dresden nahe der polnischen Grenze angehört. Das "Q" - förmige Emblem, aufgedruckt unter der Nummer "772" stellt ein Zeichen der der guten technischen Leistungsfähigkeit dar.
