Let L-410 Turbolet
La nascita e lo sviluppo del Let L-410, bimotore da trasporto, concepito e costruito interamente in Cecoslovacchia sotto la direzione tecnica dell'Ing. Ladislav Smerk, si basa sulla necessità di creare un aereo a basso costo e di buone prestazioni. Il primo volo del prototipo (XL-410-001/OK-60) avviene il 16 aprile 1968, dopo una necessaria valutazione da parte delle autorità sovietiche, l'aereo entra in produzione di serie, subendo nel corso del tempo ulteriori sviluppi di un certo interesse. L'impiego operativo dell'L-410 è quello di trasporto militare e civile, limitato ad un massimo di 20 uomini, equipaggio compreso. L'aereo ha prestato servizio, oltre che nell'aviazione cecoslovacca, in Unione Sovietica, in Svezia, a Cuba e in Libia, in versione "VIP" (oltre una mezza dozzina di esemplari) in Germania Est e Ungheria dove avviene anche l'assegnazione di un unico esemplare in versione aerofotografica (L-410 A/F). L'aereo in mostra al Parco Tematico dell'Aviazione conserva le insegne (il leone rampante) della Repubblica Cecoslovacca.
This twin-engine transport plane was designed and built entirely in Czechoslovakia, with engineer Ladislac Smerck heading the project team, whose aim was develop a low-cost plane with excellent performance characteristics. The XL-410-001 / OK-60 prototype first flew on 16 April 1968, and after being approved by Soviet authorities, production was started, with a number of interesting versions later being made available. The L-410 was used for military and civil transport, carrying a maximum of 20 persons including crew. It has seen service in the air forces of Czechoslovakia, the Soviet Union, Sweden, Cuba and Libya, and in a VIP version, in those of East Germany and Hungary, which received a single photo-reconnaissance model, the L-410 / AF. The plane seen here still has the lion emblems of Czechoslovak Republic.
Die Geburt und die Entwicklung des LET L-410/A, zweimotoriges Transportflugzeug, entworfen und konstruiert in der CSSR unter der technischen Leitung des Ingenieurs Ladislav Smerck, begründet sich in der Notwendigkeit ein sehr leistungsfähiges Flugzeug zum niedrigen Unkostenpreis bauen zu müssen. Der erste Flug des Prototyps (XL-410 - 001/OK-60), wurde am 16. April 1968 registriert und nach einer erforderlichen "Genehmigung " der sowjetischen Autoritäten begann die Serienproduktion des Flugzeuges, die im Laufe der Zeit weiterentwickelt wurde. Sein operativer Einsatz war und ist der Militär- und Ziviltransport, ein begrenzter Transport, wenn man die bescheidene Kapazität von maximal 20 Personen, die Besatzung mit einbegriffen, bedenkt. Das Flugzeug wurde außer in der tschechischen Luftwaffe auch in der Sowjetunion, in Schweden, in Kuba, in Lybien und in Version "VIP" (über 6 Exemplare) in der ehemaligen DDR und in Ungarn (hier die Übergabe von einem Exemplar in Version für Luftfotografie Let-410/AF) eingesetzt. Das ausgestellte Flugzeug trägt des Symbol des stehenden Löwen der Tschechischen Republik. W.N. 750408.
